Centennial Opening Ceremony – Pulaski Middle School
Committee Chair: Keith Chambers (920-822-5182)
The Pulaski High School Band will lead us in music.  Our presentations will include past School Superintendent, John Wigman, Pam (Marnocha) Janssen, and Pulaski High School Senior, Steven Schlender, representing the past, present and future.  Keith Chambers will MC and present a brief history slide show.  Then stay for the social to share your old stories and enjoy cake and refreshments.

Memorial Day – Honor our Local Veterans – Pulaski High School – Ripley Performing Arts Center
Committee Chair: Jim Van Lannen (920-822-1181)
There will be a ceremony to honor local veterans.  The Pulaski High School Band will perform.  A military band might also perform.

Historial Cemetery Walking Tour – Assumption BVM Cemetery

Join us as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Village of Pulaski.  You will have the opportunity to visit the graves of some of the early settlers of Pulaski.  Hear their stories as you step back in time to the early days of Pulaski.  The volunteers will be ready to answer your questions as they portray our early ancestors.  You are encouraged to dress in vintage clothing...maybe your grandfather's suit coat and hat or your grandmother's dress and bonnet.  Bring your children and grandchildren to learn about the early history of Pulaski.  Father Patrick from Assumption BVM will also be on hand to bless the cemetary.  This event will take place rain or shine so bring along your umbrellas and lawn chairs.  You don't to miss this once-in-a-lifetime event!

Old Timers Softball Game and Ice Cream Social

There will be an old-timers, slow-pitch softball game for seniors 55 and older along with an old-fashioned ice cream social.  The Pulaski Girls Softball Association will also have a concession stand.  Dave Kubiak has agreed to emcee the baseball game.  Please sign up by June 1st by calling Katie or Julie at 822-3236.  This event is sponsored by the Pulaski Chase Cooperative and the Pulaski Centennial Committee.

Pulaski Polka Days Parade
Committee Chair: Wayne Wood (920-822-5456)
Wayne is looking for ideas about how to create a Centennial theme for the parade.  He is thinking about adding more horses per approval from the Village Board.  

Saturday 08/21/10 at 1100am to 100am
Pulaski Centennial Steet Dance – Downtown Pulaski
Committee Chair: Gregg Matuszak (920-822-5527 or 920-822-8339)
This will be the main event for the Centennial celebration.  This music fest and street dance will feature bands, a free game arcade, a football toss challenge, inflatable bouncers, a magic show by Bob Nowak, chicken booyah, food and refreshments and more.  Admission is FREE to everyone.

Pulaski High School Alumni Band w/ Don Siegrest and Tom Busch:  545pm to 645pm

MPH Rock Band:  830pm to 930pm and 1100pm to 100am

Chad Przybylski and the Polka Rhythms:  130pm to 530pm

Saddlebrook Country Band:  700pm to 830pm and 930am to 1100pm

The Pulaski Museum will be open from 1000am to 300pm.

Local businesses are welcome to set up an exhibit if they wish.

Old Car and Tractor Show – Pancake and Porkie Breakfast - Memorial Park

There will an old car show, tractor show, small craft show, pancake and porkie breakfast, booyah and more.
 
Sunday 10/10/10 at 400pm
Centennial Closing - Ecumenical Service – ABVM Church

Committee Chair: Father Patrick Gawrylewski (920-822-3279)
Father Patrick will hold a special service at the church to observe the closing day of the celebration.
 
Sunday 10/10/10 - Social at 515pm and Dinner at 630pm
Centennial Closing Banquet and Celebration – Zielinski’s Ballroom
Committee Co-Chairs:  Gloria Morgan (920-822-4400) and Elaine Grygiel (920-822-5710)
There will be a formal banquet catered by Biebels.  Everyone is encouraged to dress in vintage closing from the 1910 era.  There will be speakers and musical entertainment.
